We sponsored the eventet Empowered Woman

Peter and I attended the event Empowered Woman. Pixpro was one of the sponsors of the event that was all about boosting and empowering women.

The day was full packed with great speakers and sessions from 9 am to 7 pm. The sessions were all great and gave us knowledge about rocking the Linkedin profile, selling from the stage, presentational techniques, personal stories and experiences about failures and successes. All to inspire us in the audience to be more proud of what we can bring to the world by being a woman and supporting other women to do the same.

The highlight of the event was listening and meeting Randi Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg's (founder of Facebook) sister. Randi told us her life story and how she came up with Facebook Live (we at Pixpro LOVE FB Live). Randi was clear, concise, competent, driven and very inspiring both during the presentation she held and during the interview. She left Facebook a while back to create Zuckerberg Media to continue to work on her mission to help women and girls to take a more active part in the tech world. She has created a tv-series and a book targeting 9-year old girls to get them inspired to keep them curious about math, science, etc. We got a copy of her new book that she launched this spring Pick Three: You Can Have It All (Just Not Every Day) which was also her topic for the session she held. I look forward to read it.

The event was arranged by the Swedish Wealth Insitute at Folketshus in Stockholm.
